Low friction titanium carbide guide wheel
The surface of the guide wheel can be specially treated according to requirements, such as coating with a diamond coating, which further improves wear resistance by 30% and is suitable for processing high-hardness alloy wire. It is 30% lighter than steel guide wheels of the same size, reducing the load on the drive motor and lowering energy consumption by more than 15%. In precision tube production, the groove profile accuracy of the guide wheels reaches IT3 grade, ensuring that the outer diameter tolerance of the tubes is controlled within ±0.01mm, meeting the high-precision requirements of industries such as medical and aerospace. Hard alloy titanium carbide guide wheels are critical guiding components in wire and tube production. They are manufactured using high-purity titanium carbide and cobalt bonding phases through powder metallurgy sintering, with a surface hardness of up to HRC88, offering wear resistance over 50 times that of steel guide wheels. The roundness error is controlled within 0.002mm, ensuring smooth operation of wire during high-speed drawing (speeds up to 100m/s) and preventing vibration or deviation. In stainless steel wire production, using this guide wheel reduces surface roughness from Ra1.6μm to Ra0.4μm, significantly improving product quality.
