Titanium carbide hard guide wheels for transmission
The guide wheel features precisely machined installation holes, enabling tight control of the fit clearance with the shaft within 0.005–0.01 mm. This ensures smooth rotation without oscillation, thereby enhancing guiding accuracy. The design offers low maintenance requirements and does not necessitate frequent lubrication; routine cleaning of surface contaminants is sufficient, making it well suited for continuous operation in automated production lines. In metal wire mesh manufacturing, guide wheels help maintain uniform mesh aperture size, keeping dimensional deviations within ±5%, thus meeting the stringent quality standards required for filter materials. These guide wheels can be customized with various groove profiles—such as V-shaped, U-shaped, or semi-circular—based on the specific dimensions and types of wires or tubes, allowing flexibility to meet diverse production needs. Following surface polishing, the wheel achieves a surface roughness as low as Ra 0.01 μm, significantly reducing friction-induced wire damage and increasing the tensile strength of the metal wire by approximately 10%. In automotive brake cable production, the consistent guidance provided by these wheels ensures uniform cable tensioning, minimizing the risk of in-service failure due to breakage.
