Hot Rolled Steel Bar
Hot rolling refers to the process in which the steel is rolled above the recrystallization temperature. After cooling at room temperature, the steel is normalized and cooled to become a hot rolled roundfinished steel product. If the application is not strict on diameter tolerance and surface finish, the cost of hot rolled bars is lower than that of cold finished bars. Hot rolled bars are ideal materials for many forging and machining applications, such as in fasteners, bolts, connecting rods, hydraulics, fittings, gear blanks, shafts, hubs, pistons, etc.
