ASTM B622/ASME SB622is the specification that covers seamless pipe and tube of nickel and nickel-cobalt alloys. Pipe and tube shall be supplied in the solution annealed and descaled condition. When atmosphere control is used, descaling is not necessary. ASTM B622 Seamless Pipes and Tubes are exclusively used in nuclear devices, petrochemical industries, boilers, shipbuilding, and gas industries.
