ON METAL RFID TAGS
In industrial application, most of the assets are metal form factor, but HF and UHF passive RFID tags are sensitive on metal material due to its short wavelength, they can't work well in that kind of environment, with special antenna design, RFID tags are adaptable and normally they operate in two kinds of principles, one is through a talented antenna, while the RFID tag is mounted on the metal surface, the rfid tag on metal surfaceis regarded as a reflector, and the antenna will change the frequency of returned microwave to the ordinary point and then with the affection of metal material, the signal then be offset to standard operation so that RFID reader can identify it. Another way is to use absorbing material to reduce the influence of metal material. On metal rfid tagscan be used on all kinds of metal surface or carbon fiber, are ideal products for industrial and commercial application.
