Manufacturing process of Reducer Fitting

Reducer usually adopts the forming process of reducing plus expanding pressing, expanding pressing or reducing pressing, or stamping forming. The stamping process is mainly for the reducer with some special specifications. The shape of the stamping die can refer to the inner surface dimension design of the reducer, and the blanking steel plate can be punched and drawn by the stamping die.

The expanding process of reducer is mainly to solve the problem that the reducer is difficult to be formed by reducing the diameter of the reducer. The tube blank smaller than the large end diameter of the reducer is used for expanding along the inner diameter of the tube blank with the internal punch.

The Stainless Steel Reducerforming of reducer is to put the tube blank with the same diameter as the big end of reducer into the forming die, and then press along the axial direction of the tube blank to make the metal move along the die cavity and shrink. Because of the different sizes of the reducer, its warping can also be divided into one-time or multiple pressing.

In the process of reducing or expanding deformation, according to different materials and reducing conditions, cold or hot pressing is adopted. In general, cold pressing is often used, but hot pressing will be used to make reducer in case of severe work hardening caused by multiple diameter changes, thickness deviation or alloy steel materials.
