Spiral Cut Compression Cutter Router Bit
Why it’s called compression spiral router bit
The part near the tip is designed as upcut style; while the other part near the bottom is designed as downcut style. When cutting, it eliminates chipping upward from the tip side and downward from the bottom side. So finally, debris is compressed into the middle position of the bits. That’s why it is called compression router bit. We can also understand it in this way; it is an combination of upcut spiral bits and downcut spiral bits; it is a design two in one.
