Differences Between AGM And Lithium Battery
AGM stands for absorbent glass mat battery, it's the newest type of lead-acid batteries. There are many types of lithium ion batteries available on the market, typically NCM and LiFePO4(LFP), LFP is the latest evolution of lithium batteries. Lithium-ion batteries have an optimal charging efficiency as it have a depth discharge of 90%, and the depth of AGM is about 80% when new and 50% when older.
AGM are still a good consideration for some applications, it can be used as starting batteries and less expensive initially, and considering for ling time, lithium-ion batteries are the better choice since they have a considerably longer time.
