MCR (Magnetic-valve Controllable Reactor) Type SVC
MCR type SVC uses self-coupling DC excitation and limiting magnetic saturation work mode, which not only greatly reduces the generated harmonics, but also has low active loss and fast response speed. By changing the trigger angle of the thyristor in the MCR excitation system, the magnetic flux saturation degree of the magnetic control reactor core can be changed to change the reactive capacity output of the magnetic control reactor.
