Dry fuel is more important than ever with HPCR (High Pressure Common Rail) systems becoming the standard in diesel engines. Water can displace fuel in the injectors and high pressure fuel pumps causing a lack of lubricity, thus resulting in premature wear. This wear can cause a loss of fuel economy, a less efficient engine, down time, component failure, catastrophic engine failure.

The coalescence separator is mainly designed for liquid-liquid separation. It contains two kinds of filter elements: Coalesce filter element and separation filter element. The oil liquid flows into the first stage tray from the oil inlet of the coalescence separator , then flows into the inner part of the first - stage filter element , passes through the process of filtering , breaking the emulsion , growing the water molecule and coalescence , impurities are trapped in the first - stage filter element , the accumulated water beads settle in the sedimentation tank , the oil product flows out from the outlet of the coalescing separator , the material of the second - stage filter element has hydrophobic property , the oil product can be smoothly passed , the free water is blocked out of the filter element , flows into the settling tank , and is discharged through the sewage discharge valve . finally, the clean, anhydrous oil product flows out of the coalescence separator.
