The full name of POPSO is piperazine-N, N'-bis(2-hydroxypropanesulfonic acid) and also named as piperazine-1,4-dihydroxypropanesulfonic acid. POPSO has good solubility in sodium hydroxide, 0.25g POPSO powder can be completely dissolved in 1ml of sodium hydroxide, and the dissolved solution is clear to slightly turbid. The solubility in other organic solvents is small and does not affect the biochemical reaction experiment.
