The Automotive Floor Mat Abrasion Tester is designed for evaluating the abrasion resistance of automotive floor mats and textile floor coverings. The tester simulates the repetitive friction generated by a driver’s heel during vehicle operation and quantitatively assesses material wear behavior under defined load and friction angle conditions.
The equipment is compact, mechanically stable, and easy to operate, making it suitable for routine testing in product development, quality control, and durability verification.

Test Procedures
(1) Prepare and cut the floor mat sample with a flat backing surface
(2) Fix the sample on the test platform
(3) Adjust heel penetration depth to 5 ± 1 mm using the slotted nut
(4) Set abrasion load, friction angle, and number of cycles
(5) Start the test and allow the abrasion head to perform reciprocating motion
(6) Stop the test after completion and record wear condition
Maintenance Information
(1) Regularly inspect abrasion head and replace if excessive wear is observed
(2) Keep mechanical transmission parts clean and properly lubricated
(3) Check safety switch and protective cover before operation
(4) Store the equipment in a dry environment to prevent corrosion
