The Intelligent Cable Measurement Vision System is a non-contact, machine-vision-based testing instrument designed for rapid and precise measurement of wire, cable, and optical fiber structural parameters. The system can measure insulation and sheath thickness, outer diameter, eccentricity, concentricity, ovality, and conductor cross-sectional area, while automatically generating standardized test reports.
Application
This instrument is suitable for measurement and quality control of the following cable types and scenarios:
Single-core and multi-core round cables
Flat cables and dual-core flexible wires
Multi-layer co-extruded insulation and sheath cables
Insulation and sheathing materials such as elastomers, PVC, PE, PP
High-voltage and medium-voltage cable cross-section structural measurement
Quality control in cable manufacturing, R&D institutes, and third-party testing laboratories

GB/T 2951.11-2008: Measurement methods for insulation and sheath of wires and cables
IEC 60811-1-1 (2001): Test methods for insulation and sheath of electric cables
TB2809-2017: Standard for locomotive contact wires
GB/T 5023.2-2008: Measurement of insulation thickness in 3C-certified cables
