Standard accessories:Abrasion media (e.g., standard abrasive paper/cloth), sample fixing clamps, standard weights, digital counter, power cord, user manual, certificate of conformity, and calibration tools (for some models).

Test Procedures
1. Sample Preparation
Cut test specimens according to the standard (commonly 120mm×20mm, 140mm×50mm, etc.), and condition them for 24 hours (23±2℃, 50±5% RH). Elastic leather samples should be stretched by 10% (or to the maximum stable elongation).
2. Equipment and Medium Pre-treatment
Clean the platform and calibrate the pressure (500g for dry friction / 1000g for wet friction); for wet friction, treat the wool felt/cotton cloth with boiling water and squeeze out excess water until it weighs approximately 1g (or has a water absorption rate of 100±5%).
3. Parameter Setting and Testing
Select dry/wet mode, set the number of friction cycles (5-500 cycles, e.g., ISO 11640 specifies 50 cycles for dry rubbing and 10 cycles for wet rubbing), and speed (30-60 cycles/minute); fix the sample and friction medium, and start the instrument until the preset number of cycles is reached.
4. Result Evaluation
Under D65 light source, use a gray scale to evaluate the staining grade of the friction medium (grades 1-5) and the discoloration grade of the leather. Record whether there is pilling/cracking on the surface. Take the lower value from parallel tests.
