Test Procedures

Install the smoke fire detector into the test chamber.

Power on the chamber and set the target temperature within 0–55 °C.

Activate the variable frequency fan and adjust airflow to 0.2 m/s.

Initiate the smoke generation process and monitor optical density readings.

Conduct threshold, repeatability, orientation, and airflow tests according to GB 4715-2005 protocols.

Use ion concentration meter to verify ionization detector response, if applicable.

Apply flash simulation to assess detector response under different lighting conditions.

Record all data in real time using the industrial PC and dedicated software for analysis.

Maintenance Information

Inspect heating rods and replace if temperature control is unstable.

Regularly clean or replace optical density meters and ion concentration sensors to maintain accuracy.

Check fan soft coupling connections to prevent vibration-related errors.

Verify thermocouple calibration periodically to reduce measurement deviations.
