These standards specify the testing methods for the bending fatigue performance of metallic bone plates. They provide evaluation methods for different designs of bone plates. Fatigue tests are conducted under cyclic loading at a frequency of 5 Hz, with R = 0.1. for 1 million cycles or until specimen failure.
