Tapered roller bearing
The tapered roller bearings have tapered rollers and they are guided by the inner ring rib. The vertexes of inner ring raceway, outer ring raceway and roller raceway all meet at a common point on the bearing axis. This bearing is particularly suitable for the accommodation of combined (radial and axial) loads. The axial load carrying capacity of the bearings is largely determined by the contact angle of the outer ring. The larger the angle, the higher the axial load carrying capacity. The tapered roller bearings have larger load capacity than angular contact ball bearings, but not suitable for high speed. They are separable and according to the rows of rolling elements, can be grouped as single row tapered roller bearings, double row tapered roller bearings and four-row tapered roller bearings. For the ingle row tapered roller bearings, the users should adjust the clearance during mounting. The clearance of the double row and four row bearings is customized, so the users need not do any adjustment.
Tapered roller bearings are widely used in automobiles, rolling mills, metallurgy, plastic machinery and many other fields.
