Flanged Double Eccentric Butterfly Valve

Double eccentric butterfly valve is a further improvement on the basis of single eccentric butterfly valve. The structure feature is that the stem axis deviates from the disc center and the body center. The effect of double eccentricity makes the butterfly plate quickly break away from the seat after the valve is opened, which greatly eliminates the unnecessary excessive extrusion and scraping phenomenon between the butterfly plate and the seat, reduces the opening resistance, reduces wear and improves the life of the seat. The significant reduction in scratching and the use of metal seats for double eccentric butterfly valves improves the use of high temperature butterfly valves. It mainly apply in water plant, power plant, steel smelting, paper making, chemical industry, food and other systems for water supply and drainage, especially suitable for water pipe, as a regulation and closure equipment.
