Plastic Flange
Normal materials of plastic flange include PVC and PP, etc. Compared with steel flange, the plastic flange is smooth, lightweight, antioxidant, corrosion prevention and erosion resistance, widely used in chemical, electronics, metallurgy, plastic, electroplating, irrigation, sewage treatment, circulating water engineering, aquatic products aquaculture, civil construction, and other industries.
Plastic Flange VS Metal Flange
1. Standard (Similarity):
Both plastic & metal are flange's materials. Both metal flanges & steel flanges can be ANSI/ASME, DIN, BS, JIS, UNI & EN 1092-1 standard.
2. Design Pressure (Similarity)
Plastic flange pressure only can be 10kgs.
Metal flange pressure can be PN6/PN10/PN16/PN25,150LBS/300LBS/400LBS/600LBS
3. Type & Facing (Similarity):
Type: Blind, Socket
Facing: FF
4. Installation (Similarity and Difference):
Plastic flanges are chemically stable, do not rust and economic, they are suitable for underground irrigation and household pipe connections.
