Cast Steel Gate Valves
According to the material, cast steel gate valves can be divided into carbon steel gate valve, stainless steel gate valve, low alloy steel gate valve, low temperature steel gate valve, etc. Various specific steel grades are commonly used under various cast steel gate valves as follows: 1. The grades of carbon steel gate valve are: WCA, WCB, WCC, LCB, etc.; the applicable temperature is -46 degrees to 425 degrees. 2. Stainless steel gate valve grades: 301 stainless steel, CF8 stainless steel, CF8M stainless steel, etc.; the applicable temperature is -198 degrees to 816 degrees. 3. Low-alloy steel is divided into high-temperature alloy steel and high-strength low-alloy steel, among which high-temperature alloy steel is often referred to as chrome-molybdenum steel. Casting grades of chrome molybdenum steel gate valve: ZG1Cr5Mo, ZG15Cr1MoV, ZG20CrMoV, WC6, WC9, C12A, etc. The applicable temperature is 550 degrees to 750 degrees.
Forged Steel Gate Valves
According to different materials, forged steel gate valves can be classified as: carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, alloy and other special materials. According to different nominal pressure classes, forged steel gate valves can be classified as: Class150, Class 300, Class 400, Class 600, Class 800, Class 900, Class 1500 and Class 2500. MstnLand forged steel gate valves are mostly reduced bore design, compared with the same size cast steel gate valve, the amount of flow is slightly smaller, but the pressure and temperature range are higher than the cast steel valve. Its sealing performance is much better than the cast steel gate valve. It has a longer service life and the flow direction of the medium is not restricted.

Gate Valves Working Principle
The opening and closing part of gate valve is a flashboard. Its direction of motion is perpendicular to the direction of fluid. A gate valve is usually used to cut off the medium. The entire flow channel is a straight-through passage when gate valve is fully open, and the pressure loss of the medium running is minimum. Gate valve is usually divided into several types by seal part mode, such as wedge gate valve, plate gate valve, parallel 2-flashboard gate valve and wedge 2-flashboard gate valve. Gate valve is usually used under working conditions in which the valve is not opened or closed frequently, and supports flashboard fully open or fully closed.
