Micro Blood Collection Tubes
Skirted tube with false bottom to make a full-size blood collection tube, with dimensions as 13 X 75mm; Compatible with automated hematology analyzers without the need for a tube adapter.
Used for pediatric & finger-prick blood sample collections.

Precision molded snap cap maintains a tight seal during procedures and allows to open by single hand. They are available in bright attractive colors for sample identification purposes.

An integrated scoop on the tube for easier micro blood collection.

Marked with fill lines, lot numbers and expiration date on labels.

Made from medical grade polypropylene (PP), virtually unbreakable and highly transparent.

Immediately after draw, gently invert the tube in order to mix with additives.

To obtain serum with clot activator, tubes should be allowed to stand for 30 minutes or until the clot is formed.

What is the Difference Between a Capillary Tube and a Micro Collection Tube?
Structural difference:
Capillary blood collection tube is composed of capillary tube, central crossed rubber cap, and a micro tube.
Micro collection tube is composed of screw cap and plastic tube with integrated collection scoop.
Operational difference:
Capillary blood collection tube is collected by micro tube with capillary action that the blood will flow into the tubes against the effect gravity. The cap of capillary tubes is made of rubber and has a "valve" on it. During blood collection, the collection strap can be penetrated through the rubber cover without opening the cover.
The micro blood collection tube uses integrated collection scoop to collect blood.
Application:
Capillary blood collection tube and micro plain tube for blood collectionare both used for obtaining specimens in infants or in adults where venipuncture is difficult. But the capillary blood collection tube is used more convenient.
