Safety Helmet Roll-off Testing Equipment
The safety helmet retention test equipment is a device used to evaluate the stability of a helmet's fit when subjected to impact. By simulating the pulling forces and impact scenarios of an accident, it accurately assesses the reliability of the helmet's retention system, providing a rigorous technical safeguard for the safety of cyclists. The equipment mainly consists of a simulated head form, a tensile loading system, an impact track, and a data acquisition system. During the test, the helmet is secured to the simulated head form according to standard wearing procedures, and the length of the helmet straps and the tightness of the buckles are adjusted to ensure a fit that matches actual wearing conditions.
Application
Apply an initial load of a certain force to the rear of the helmet. Then, let a weight specified by the standard fall from a certain height so that the impact force is also applied to the helmet. In this way, the wearing stability performance of the helmet can be evaluated.

Feature
Dynamic Tensile Testing: A tensile force is applied to the helmet using a tensile loading system, and the maximum tensile force is recorded to ensure the helmet does not detach during the test.
Impact Testing: The helmet is worn and slid down a track to impact a rigid obstacle at a specific speed, and whether the helmet detaches is recorded.
Data Acquisition: An accelerometer records the impact force on the headform, comprehensively evaluating the stability of the fastening system under dynamic impact.
Safety Protection: The equipment is equipped with a safety enclosure to prevent injury from flying helmet fragments during testing.

Test Procedures
1. previously to the ambient temperature and sanitary conditions for the conditions of the helmet, should be placed on the appropriate head shape and fixed in the appropriate head.
2. In the median vertical plane of the helmet, a device that guides and releases the fall with a total mass of 3 kg ± 0.1 kg is attached to the rear of the shell.
3. 10 kg ± 0.01 kg of falling mass is released and lowered from a height of 0.5 m ± 0.01 m. The guiding device should ensure that the impact velocity is not less than 95% of the theoretical velocity.
