Carpet Pilling and Fuzzing Tester
Instrument Description
This instrument is used to simulate the pilling and fuzzing phenomena that occur during the normal use of carpets. The instrument contains a roller covered with nylon, which can generate a frictional motion with a set number of cycles on the surface fibers of the sample. Then, observe the appearance changes of the sample.

Application Scope
It is used for performance tests of abrasion resistance, wear - and - tear, and appearance changes (pilling) of textiles and membrane materials.
Working Principle
The circular textile sample rubs against the standard abrasive along the motion trajectory of the Lissajous curve under a certain pressure, resulting in sample damage. The abrasion - resistant performance of the textile is represented by the number of abrasion cycles until the sample is damaged.
