Rolling load tester

A common requirement for different types of indoor sports surfaces is the measurement of rolling load. A rolling load tester is used to test the rolling action described in EN and DIN standards. The rolling load is determined by a loaded wheel rolling back and forth across the seams of the indoor sports surface. After the rolling is complete, the extent of damage and residual indentation can be determined as needed. This rolling load tester features an automatic lifting system and allows observation of the entire process through a transparent cover.

Test Procedures

1. Preparation

Check the equipment power supply, sensors, and rolling components (ensure no jamming/wear), prepare flat and undamaged samples according to standards (allow for environmental stabilization), and confirm that the testing environment meets the requirements.

2. Setup

Start the equipment and software, enter sample information, and set parameters such as rolling speed, test load, and running time/number of cycles.

3. Installation

Fix the sample in the center of the test platform, ensuring a secure fit and no displacement, and align it with the rolling track.

4. Testing

Start the program, monitor the equipment's operating status and data curves in real time, and stop the machine for troubleshooting if any abnormalities occur.

5. Post-processing

After the test is completed, shut down and clean the equipment, export the data and calculate key indicators, generate a report, and perform regular equipment maintenance.

6. Safety

Operators must be trained before operation, stay away from the rolling area, and disconnect the power before troubleshooting in case of malfunction.
