SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Test Kit (Saliva) (Colloidal Gold)
The case of viral pneumonia was first detected in 2019, and the new coronavirus (COVID-19) that caused the disease was discovered. On January 12, 2020, the new viral pneumonia was named "COVID-19" by the World Health Organization and the corresponding virus was named "SARS-CoV-2". The virus is coated with round or elliptical particles, which are polymorphic with a diameter of 60-140nm. Its genetic characteristics are significantly different from SARSr-CoV and MERSr-CoV and have more than 85% homology with β-SARS- like coronavirus (β-SL-CoVZC45). The virus can be excreted through respiratory secretions and spread through saliva, sneezing, contact and aerosols.

Testing Principle of SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Test Kit (Saliva) (Colloidal Gold)
SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Test Kit (Saliva) (Colloidal Gold) is the kit based on nitrocellulose membrane and qualitative immunoassay to detect SARS- CoV-2 in saliva.
During the test, add the saliva sample to the buffer and mix well.
After adding it to the sample well, it will react with the bound SARS-CoV-2-N22 antibody-coated gold nanoparticles to form an antigen-antibody complex.
This complex migrates forward along the test strip on the chromatographic membrane, interacts and binds with the immobilized SARS-CoV-2-N21 antibody, and immobilizes the antigen in the test line area of the test.
If the specimen contains SARS-CoV-2, a color line will appear in the test line area, indicating that the result is positive.
Otherwise, there will be no color line in the area, indicating a negative result. In order to determine the validity of the test strip, a color line will always appear in the control line area, indicating that an appropriate volume of sample has been added and reacted with the quality control antibody on the membrane.
