Ivermectin Injection
Description: Antibiotic to kill and control eelworm, inspects and mange mites. It can be used to control and prevent gastrointestinal track eelworm and lung eelworm in livestock and poultry and fly maggot, mange mites, louse, and other parasites outside body.
Indications: Antiparasitic, used to prevent and treat diseases of eelworms, mites and other parasites.
Dosage and administration: For subcutaneous administration. Calves, cattle, goats and sheep: 0.2mg ivermectin per kilo body weight. Swine: 0.3mg ivermectin per kilo body weight.
Contraindications: Administration to lactating animals.
Side effects: When ivermectin comes in contact with soil, it readily and tightly binds to the soil and becomes inactive over time. Free ivermectin may adversely affect fish and some water born organisms on which they feed.
Withdrawal time: Meat: 28 days
