Diaphragm filter plate

Diaphragm squeeze filter plate is composed of a filter plate with a hole in the middle and a membrane plate that can be inflated inside. Mainly after the filter press, air is blown into the membrane plate, the filter cake is further squeezed, and the second squeezing is achieved to further reduce the content of the filter plate liquid.
Advantages and disadvantages of various material filter plates
1: PP polypropylene is currently commonly used, that is, high molecular polypropylene. This material has very good resistance to various acids and alkalis, including strong acid hydrofluoric acid. But the operating temperature range is relatively small. Most can only withstand 70° materials for a short period of time. The high temperature filter plate is an organic material with good acid resistance and temperature resistance. The normal temperature resistance can reach about 150°, but the alkali resistance is extremely poor.
2: The membrane filter plate has good elasticity, and the moisture content of the filter cake has reached below 30%.
3: Rubber filter plate, acid and alkali resistance, high temperature resistance, and high sealing performance.
4: Aluminum filter plate, which is light in all metal filter plates, but relatively speaking, it is less resistant to acid.
5: Cast iron filter plate, heavy weight, poor acid resistance and temperature resistance.
6: Stainless steel filter plate has better acid and alkali resistance, but the price is higher than that of all filter plates. After all, the material itself is expensive and the machining time is very time-consuming.
