Din Abrasion Tester is designed to determine abrasion resistance index of natural and synthetic rubber in accordance with the above principle. It consists of test specimen holder with a cylindrical opening adjustable between 15.5 to 16.3 mm to clamp the test specimen with an arrangement to adjust the length of test specimen protruding out.

Main Principles:
What a load under a certain level in gauze, grinding a cylindrical cross-section sample determined stroke on the gauze surface, by measuring the amount of wear quality of the sample, and then by the density of the sample to calculate the volume of the amount of abrasion, in order to the test comparable, and finally be subject to the standard rubber, the test results are expressed as relative volumetric wear to verify the amount of gauze-based or full representation with respect to the amount of wear of a certain standard wear rubber base.
