brown fused alumina
It is fused in an electric-arc furnace by high temperature. Its main raw materials are bauxite anthracite. The micro hardness is 1800-2200kg/mm2. The toughness is higher than silicon carbide. The degree of refractory is more than 1850°C
Usage:
For it’s high temperature and corrosion resistance ,high hardness
(1) It’s used for smelting rare metals , special alloy, ceramic;as the puddling blast furnace lining,chemical and physical vessels,spark plug, heat resistant oxidation coating.pouring steel slide gate.etc.
For it's good hardness,excellent wear resistance, high strength
(2) Corundum heat preservation material ,such as corundum light brick, alumina hollow ball, fiber products.
(3)as the roof and wall of high temperature furnace.
