Usage: deoxidizer,refractory,additivesSilicon carbide Sic powder 1.Silicon carbide Sic production: use quartz sand, petroleum coke, wood sawdust as raw material, smelting by resistance furane. There are two kind of silicon carbide in our industry, which is black silicon carbide and green silicon carbide. Both of them are hexagonal crystal, specific gravity is 3.20~3.25, micro hardness is 2840~3320kg/mm2. 2.Silicon carbide Sic feature:it has stable chemical property, high thermal conductivity, smaller thermal expansion and good wear resistance, which could make into high-level refractory material. Refractory material with it in has the advantage of good thermal shock resistance, compact dimensions, low weight, high strength and good energy-saving effect. Low-grade silicon carbide is good deoxidizer, which could speed up steelmaking speed, produce reaction heat therefore reduce energy consumption, easy to control chemical composition. 3.Silicon carbide Sic application:A. Abrasive and cutting tools, such as grinding wheel, oilstone, grinding head, grinding segment and so on. B. Metallurgical deoxidizer and heat-resisting material. C. High purity single crystal, could used to make semiconductor, silicon carbide fiber and so on.
