Perforated Plate Sieves for Screening Materials
Perforated Sieves or perforated plate sievesare made of perforated stainless steel plate with round holes or square holes, and brass or stainless steel as the frames. Perforated sieves are used where accurate screening materials are needed. We can offer a wide range of perforated plate sieves in round hole or square hole. Perforated plate sieves are in diameter sizes of 200, 300, 315, 350, 400 and 450mm. Aperture sizes range from 125mm to 4mm in square hole and 125mm to 1mm in slotted round hole. They are widely used in many fields for its different materials and types.
Three Major Types of Perforated Sieves
There are mainly three kinds of perforated sieves. They are perforated grain sieves, mid-point test sieves and extra depth sieves.
- Perforated Grain Sieves
This kind of sieves are used by government agriculture sectors and grain organizations from all over the world to test gains and cereals grades. They are usually made of stainless steel or brass perforated plate for sieving mesh and the same material plate for the frame. Commonly diameter of the sieves are 200mm. - Extra Depth Sieves
Extra Depth Sieves are perforated stainless steel sieves in extra depth. They are widely used in the construction and cement industries. The diameter size is commonly 450mm and the sieve depth is 300mm. Made from stainless steel perforated plate; the sieves are tough and rigid and ensures a long service life. - Mid-Point Test Sieves
When a process requires a high level of repeatability, mid-points can be used on all sieve tests. However, the predominant application for the mid-point sieves are as master stack. A master stack is used to check and recalibrate sieves used in everyday testing. It can be also used for the screening of sand.
Besides, there are some special designed perforated sieves, such as air jet sieves, pocket sieves and other sieves used for testing small samples either in the lab or on site.
Perforated plate can be used as sieves to separating and screening the materials.
Perforated sieves with square holes can be used as gains sieves to test gains and cereals grades.
