Chromium carbide powder with surface finish Ra0.02μm
The powder has a high hardness, with a microhardness of up to 2200HV. The hardness of the wear-resistant coating prepared from it can reach over HRC65, making it suitable for applications that require high-stress wear, such as surface strengthening of excavator bucket teeth and crusher hammer heads. The bonding strength between the coating and the substrate is high, reaching over 50MPa, and it is not easy to peel off, ensuring long-term usage effect. In mining machinery, parts treated with chromium carbide coating can withstand the severe impact and friction of ores, and their service life is increased by 4 to 6 times. Chromium carbide powder has excellent wettability and adheres firmly to metal substrates such as iron, nickel and cobalt, making the coating less prone to cracking
