Wear-resistant alloy chromium carbide powder
Chromium carbide powder is silver grey in colour and is an important metal-ceramic material with the chemical formula Cr₃C₂. It has high hardness (microhardness up to 1300-1800HV), excellent abrasion resistance and high temperature resistance, and can be stabilised at a high temperature of 1380°C. It has a strong resistance to oxidation and can effectively resist thermal corrosion. With good chemical stability, it can maintain structural integrity in corrosive media such as acid and alkali. It is prepared by atomisation method, carbothermal reduction method and other processes, which can regulate the particle size and particle size distribution. Chromium carbide powder is often used as an additive or coating raw material, and is widely used in aerospace engine parts, metallurgical rolls, petrochemical valves and other fields, which significantly improves the wear and corrosion resistance of the surface of the workpiece and prolongs its service life.
