Titanium carbide powder is a kind of grey-black ultra-fine powder, the purity can be up to 99.9% or more, the average particle size between 0.5-5μm, with a high melting point (3140 ℃), high hardness (Moh's hardness 9-10) characteristics. It is the core raw material for the preparation of titanium carbide cemented carbide and ceramic materials, and in powder metallurgy, it can be made into high-performance alloy by mixing with cobalt and nickel powder and sintering. The powder has good sphericity, good fluidity, and loose packing density of 2.5-3.0g/cm³, which can ensure the composition uniformity of the sintered products and avoid porosity or segregation. In the production of cemented carbide, the addition of titanium carbide powder can increase the wear resistance of the alloy by 20-30%, which is widely used in cutting tools, moulds and other fields.
