Aluminium Beryllium master alloy
In the process of smelting and casting, the advantage lies in the stability of beryllium oxide film. This oxide film can block the chemical reaction between oxygen and aluminum or magnesium, which reduces the output of waste residue by 70%. The produced surface film can also prevent the occurrence of adverse phenomena such as mixing, stirring, skimming and turbulence during pouring. Because magnesium in aluminum alloy is oxidized first, a small amount of beryllium additive can make magnesium not save the cost of aluminum-magnesium alloy, but reduce the loss of magnesium and the oxidation of aluminum. The combination of beryllium additives will reduce the formation of slag, and the neutralized slag can reduce the treatment cost of slag removal. Reducing dregs can reduce metal loss and energy cost related to smelting.
