High Purity Titanium Carbide Round Bar
Titanium carbide cermet rods (TiC rods) belong to the group of steel-jointed cemented carbides, which are composites of steel as the bonding phase and refractory metal carbides (mainly titanium carbide and tungsten carbide) as the hard phase.TiC rods are a high-hardness, high-strength titanium-based alloy composite material. The main varieties of steel-jointed cemented carbides include tool, die and wear parts (grades: GT35, R5); mining tools and hammer alloys (grades: TM52, TM60, GB10). Of these, GT35 for guide wheels and TM52 and TM60 for crusher hammer inserts are extremely promising. Titanium Carbide Rods for Hammers The TiC rods are mainly cast into crusher grinding hammers, plate hammers, jaws, concave plates, mantles and crushing rolls, etc. This makes the base of high manganese steel effectively reduced, which improves the service life of the hammer crushing equipment and correspondingly saves the maintenance cost.Titanium carbide rod can be used in very harsh working conditions to improve the life of the workpiece, such as gearing for heavy machinery roadheader, which plays an important role in improving the life of boring machine.
