Anti-vibration wear titanium carbide hard alloy round bars
The production process of this round bar is highly stringent, encompassing every stage from the control of titanium carbide powder purity (purity ≥ 99.5%) to the precise regulation of sintering temperature (approximately 1500°C). Each step directly influences the final performance of the product. The finished product exhibits excellent dimensional stability, with a thermal expansion coefficient of only 6×10⁻⁶/°C across temperature variations ranging from -50°C to 300°C—significantly lower than that of most metallic materials. This characteristic ensures the dimensional accuracy of precision tools in diverse environmental conditions.
This material is widely utilized as wear-resistant inserts in automotive molds due to its ability to withstand prolonged high-pressure friction with minimal wear, thereby extending the service life of the molds. Additionally, titanium carbide round bars made from hard alloy exhibit superior anti-adhesion properties. When machining sticky materials such as aluminum and copper alloys, the likelihood of "tool sticking" is significantly reduced, resulting in a smoother surface finish. The surface properties can be further enhanced through coating treatments, such as TiAlN coating, which improve both wear and oxidation resistance, extending tool life by more than 50%.
