The basic process of carbon steel elbow is: first, welding a polygonous ring shell with a cross section or a polygonal fan shell with closed ends, the internal pressure is applied after the pressure medium is filled inside. A circular ring shell may be cut into 4 90 °bends or 6 60 °bends or other elbows of other specifications, as required, and this process is suitable for the manufacture of any large elbow of a specification whose ratio of middle diameter to inside diameter of the elbow is greater than 1.5 times, It is an ideal method for manufacturing large carbon steel elbows at present.
