Connection with carbon steel pipe: welding, flange connection, threaded connection, socket connection, etc. According to the process can be divided into: welding elbows, stamping elbows, casting elbows and so on. Purpose: connect two pipes to make the tube in right angle, 45 °or 180 °direction.According to the angle of the elbow, there are 45 °, 90 °and 180 °.
The basic process of carbon steel elbow is: first, welding a polygonous ring shell with a cross section or a polygonal fan shell with closed ends, the internal pressure is applied after the pressure medium is filled inside. Under internal pressure, the cross section is gradually changed from polygon to circle, and finally becomes a circular ring shell. A circular ring shell may be cut into 4 90 °bends or 6 60 °bends or other elbows of other specifications, as required, and this process is suitable for the manufacture of any large elbow of a specification whose ratio of middle diameter to inside diameter of the elbow is greater than 1.5 times, It is an ideal method for manufacturing large carbon steel elbows at present.
