Detection Kit for Monkeypox Virus DNA (PCR-Fluorescence Probing)
Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is the preferred laboratory test given its accuracy and sensitivity which suggested by WHO. Monkeypox Test Kit Procedure
① Specimen collection: take the rash cover or scab, put it into a specimen collection tube, then seal the tube and send it for inspection.
② Specimen processing and nucleic acid extraction: using nucleic acid extraction kit and instrument to obtain purified MPOX DNA.
③ PCR amplification: PCR reagentpreparation and using extracted MPOX nucleic acid as PCR template
