Activated carbon is odorless, tasteless, sand-free, insoluble in any solvent, has selective adsorption capacity for various gases, and has high-capacity adsorption capacity for organic pigments and nitrogen-containing alkalis. The total surface area per gram can reach 500-1000㎡. The relative density is about 1.9~2.1, and the surface relative density is about 0.08~0.45.
