Physical Properties
Appearance: Usually appears as a white or off - white crystalline powder or granular solid. It is odorless or has a slight characteristic odor.
Solubility: It is sparingly soluble in water. The solubility may increase with the increase in temperature. It is insoluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and ether.
Chemical Properties
Stability: It is relatively stable under normal temperature and pressure conditions. However, it may decompose when exposed to high temperatures, strong acids, or strong alkalis.
