The main uses of Calcium Carbonate
I. Industrial Field
· Building materials: They are important raw materials for manufacturing cement, lime, glass, etc. Calcium carbonate is one of the indispensable components in cement production. In glass manufacturing, it can enhance the chemical stability and mechanical strength of glass.
· Plastic and rubber industry: As a filler added to plastics and rubber, it can increase the hardness, rigidity and dimensional stability of the products and reduce costs. If calcium carbonate is added to polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipes and plates, their physical properties can be improved.
