The gas in the cavity is discharged when filling. The slit type vent plug has good venting and anti-clogging properties, and can replace the high-cost small-hole venting granules well, thereby reducing the mold development cost.Wire EDM machine uses a metallic wire (electrode) to cut a programmed contour in a workpiece. Extrusion dies and blanking punches are very often machined by wire cutting.
