The Details of 14mil PTFE Coated Fiberglass Fabric
PTFE fiberglass membranefabric is substrate with fiberglass fabric coated with high level of PTFE coating to ensure the fabric ideal for using in high temperature environment, cooling chamber and freezing applications. With PTFE coating, the fabric offers high release from sticky materials, low friction coefficient and superior chemical resistance. Thickness of this PTFE coated fiberglass fabric is 14mil or 0.35mm, max width reach to 2800mm, good as release sheet or made into conveyor belt for high temperature application.

The Applications of 14mil PTFE Coated Fiberglass Fabric
In polymer industry for foam curing - PTFE coated fiberglass fabric in thickness of 14mil is essential during foam curing to made into conveyor belts, the conveyor belt withstand temperature between -70-260℃, its nonstick surface will avoid sticking tendencies of the soft polymeric materials, PTFE coating makes it chemical resistant to avoid affecting by curing materials.
In automotive industry for thermal lamination - Some car component part is laminated by substrates, molten polymers and adhesives, thus the environment of thermal lamination process is sticky, PTFE coated fiberglass fabric in thickness of 14mil is smooth and nonstick, ideal as release conveyor belt to carry these materials for laminating, surface of the final products will also be smooth.
