Brake hosealso named brake pipe, automotive brake hose, is the important components in automotive brake system. It is mainly used to pass the brake media in automotive brake system. Ensure that the brake force is transmitted to the vehicle brake shoes and calipers forming brake force so that the brake works at any time. Currently, brake hoses on the market are of brake connectors hose assemblies. According to the automotive brake form, it can be divided into hydraulic brake hose, air brake hose, vacuum brake hose. Also it can be divided into rubber brake hose and nylon brake hose based on the material. We can produce different automotive brake forms hose which is made of rubber.

Purchase common sense:

  1. Choose the regular product with "CCC" mark, manufacture name and production date.
  2. According to the model of vehicle, use the matched hose assemblies.
  3. Have the knowledge of identifying the mark of hose. For example, Letter “HR” represents the hydraulic hose of standard expansion amount; "A" represents hose used for air brake system; "V" represents hose used for vacuum braking system.
  4. Do not use the braking hose which surface with cracks, corrosion, bubbles and other phenomena.

Hydraulic brake hose failure:

  1. When braked, the vehicle cannot slow down quickly or stop.
  2. It has a poor brake when depress brake plate first time. Depress brake plate continuously, while the feeling of depress is weakened, the braking effect is also not good.
  3. Braking during vehicle is traveling, the driver feels it slows down.
  4. When it brakes, the braking distance is extended.

Maintenance common sense:
Because braking hose is the important part of making sure the vehicles safe, every driver should pay particular attention to the usual maintenance and checks. In peacetime should note the following:

  1. Check regularly, keep braking hose surface clean, protect it against corrosion.
  2. Avoid pulling force.
  3. Check regularly whether the fitting has the loose and bad sealing phenomenon.
  4. For a long-term use of braking hose, if it has aging, bad sealing or scratch phenomenon, replace it promptly.
