Voltage Dip Compensation Device
The reliability of electrical power to industry is in general very high, nevertheless, voltage sags or dips do occure. These instabilities are caused by nature cause, such as Lightning, fire, heavy snow, cable obstruction, animal, heavy wind,thunderstorm. And Man-made Cause, such as malfunction in power supply machines, aged power supply facilities, Operation of large-capacity load and so on.The duration of such faults is generally shorter than one second. Power Quality data shows that voltage sags with a mamimum depth of around 50% constitute 92% of all events.Voltage Dip Compensators are designed to maintain the switchgear control voltage during voltage sags, effectively keeping the plant connected. The stored electrical and magnetic energy is allowed to flow, supporting the mechanical intertia of the machinery. When the power is restored after a short voltage dip, the plant is still running at near synchronous speed, the inrush currents will be small and the stress to the system minimal. Product Description:
- Compensate voltage-dip: Standard specification of compensating voltage-dip, interruption in 1 second;
- Adjust time for Dip compensation (0.1 ~ 5.0 sec);
- Set Dip compensation operation voltage (AC 170~190V, AC85~99V);
- Set Dip compensation output voltage (AC200/210/220/230V, AC100/110/120V);
- Dip compensation Counter and display;
- Off-line: Stand by when normal power is applied. Compensate only on accidents;
- No battery: Low maintenance costs and free from disposing wastes, does not produce chemical GAS;
- Power Capacitor charging: Long life span of at least 10 years;
- Highly reliable: High-speed connection within 1msec;
- Stability: Low heat generation and safe by operating in Of f-line;
- Strong resistance against high inrush current : Does not need 2~3 times larger size like UPS or CVT, respond to voltage-dip
- Easy installation with small size and light weight: Does not need Step-Up transformer or battery
