GFS Tank for Drinking Water Storage
GFS bolted tank is made of glass fused to steel plate, special sealing material, self-locking screw and other materials. The thickness of enamel steel plate can reach to 20 mm, the most used steel plate thickness is 3~10 mm, steel plate has surface oil, contain rust, contain oxide skin, after shot blasting, sand and other pretreatment process, the steel plate surface will be clean. After 900 ºChigh temperature second enamelingl in electric furnace ,0.3 mm enamel coating is applied on both sides of steel plate. strong binding force between enamel coating and steel plate. Enamel coating can not only prevent tank corrosion, but also has the function of strong acid and alkali resistance. And has extremely strong wear resistance.

Low Cost
The installation, disassembly, migration, and resettlement of GFS bolted Tanks are convenient and fast, and do not require a large amount of labor and large installation equipment. The quality is stable and the corrosion resistance is excellent, so the maintenance cost is very low. Carbon steel welded tanks and concrete tanks are installed on-site and usually involve sealing and waterproofing, long installation intervals, and the installation process are easily delayed due to bad weather (such as rain or wind), resulting in high installation costs. In some cities, there may be restrictions on the use of sealants, resulting in delays or high installation costs. GFS tanks are more convenient and environmentally friendly without on-site finishing.
Superior Corrosion Resistance
After the enamel steel plate is sintered at a high temperature of 820°-930°, the enamel will fuse with the surface of the steel plate to form a strong chemically inert inorganic coating, which has superior corrosion resistance.
GFS Drinking/Potable water tankshave an inert inorganic coating on the surface, which does not allow any accumulation of slime, algae, or the growth of any organic matter or suspended particles, making them very suitable for drinking water storage.
