Nylon fiber has high strength with a strength of 4-5.3 CN/dtex, an elongation rate of 18%-45%,and an elastic restoration rate of more than 90% at 10% elongation. Nylon has the strongest strength among fibers, showing a wear resistance 10 times that of cotton fiber and 50 times that of viscose as per measuration, outweighing all other fibers in terms of wear resistance. This is why it has been an ideal material for manufacturing tires of motor vehicles when pressed with rubber.
