Benzoin
Benzoin, also known as benzoin or diphenyl ketone alcohols, is the most common degassing agent in powder coating. When the powder coating is melting, benzoin consume the oxygen in the bubbles, reducing the bubble diameter, causes the pressure inside the bubble increased, so that the speed of polymer dissolved nitrogen is accelerated, and bubble contraction is accelerated, thesmall molecule compounds escaped before the leveling forming film, thereby eliminating the coating pores and other small pinholes or trichopores.
